Founder and Event Producer

After 20 years coordinating events of all scopes and sizes, Hava founded Blue Door Events on a simple belief: great events don't happen by accident. They're built on a foundation of creativity, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and genuine people skills - and it’s this formula that brings any occasion to life.

Over the years, Hava has worked in a variety of settings and has coordinated events ranging from weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, concerts, celebrity galas, golf tournaments, auctions, speaker series, film screenings, and more. In addition to planning social events and parties, her expertise in creating and executing events in the nonprofit sector has helped to raise over $30M for a variety of organizations and clients.

Hava has built her career on being a trustworthy and creative partner, and a calming presence. She listens and asks questions. She stays within budget. And she’s the first to come and the last to leave. Her job is to understand what every client is looking for, help guide their decision making, and ensure they show up to their event stress-free, well-slept, and ready to welcome their guests with a smile.

Naomi Alon

Naomi Alon is a celebrated designer and author, whose work has always centered on one transformative idea: that a thoughtfully designed space has the power to shape an experience. With dual degrees in studio art and interior design, Naomi brings a rare combination of artistic vision and technical expertise to every project she takes on. Her philosophy that design should be intentional, curated, and uniquely personal, translates seamlessly into the world of event design, where every detail contributes to an atmosphere guests will feel and remember.

Naomi’s work has been featured in numerous publications and she was named HGTV's Designer of the Month in 2019. Her event work draws on the same skills that made her a design authority: an instinct for spatial storytelling, a mastery of color, texture, and mood, and the ability to bring a client's vision to life in a way that feels both elevated and personal.
